Where to start…

Well, I created this blog in pursuit of my love…FOOD! My outlook on cooking and eating is quite experimental. I go through what my lovely boyfriend likes to call “phases.” I will “go raw” for some time, then perhaps transition into Veganism for a while, and then show up with a book on Macrobiotic cooking and then before you know it I am cooking up a rack o’ lamb! Call me crazy insane, but I have learned to listen and follow what my body needs and craves. Intuitive eating if you will… perhaps more about that in the future:)

I am passionate about health, longevity and a balanced lifestyle. Pilates, running, and yoga are some of my favorite forms of enjoyment AND exercise. I LOVE creating healthy recipes based on old favorites! I have a small frame so I am always looking to get the best bang for my buck;)

And of course, as any woman on this planet, I have had my battles with food, my body, and internal happiness. Healing myself is where my passion for food and wellness stems from. Everyone is different, and this blog will be my place to journal and share what I have learned works for ME in order to maintain a happy and balanced lifestyle. Of course there will be ups and downs, but that is only to be expected on such a fun and exciting adventure, aka LIFE!
